Tonight we were getting ready for bed, and while I was trying to get my oldest in her pjs, I glanced in our bathroom and seen my youngest, Freya. She was trying to brush her own teeth. She pulled up her stool and still, even on her tippy toes, could barely reach the water with her toothbrush.
She does this often, But tonight it kind of stopped me in my tracks.
I don't know about you, but sometimes (too often) I get caught up in the stresses of the every day and have a hard time living in the "moment", without feeling pressured to be as productive as possible.
I thought, I'll have to take some pictures of this someday, I really want to remember this. I can't right now of course, she's not even fully dressed (shes missing her pants!) and her hairs a mess. I'll wait for the perfect time and the perfect moment when she is in the perfect clothes, and most importantly, when I actually have time to do it.
But that might not ever happen, and by then, she might not even need that stool anymore.
And I decided, I DO have time. it takes like 2 minutes to go in the other room, grab my camera and start snapping. So I did.
and these images tell a story, about the every day and the little moments and all the little details we often over look...
